Turning “meditation” into our own Powerful Sacred practice..

Updated: Aug 21

Most run from meditation because of the thoughts and rules, if you’ve stick it through snd still practicing that’s wonderful.

Sharing a few things I did to take it all to the next level because the way meditation was shared with me and what I read just didn’t resonate much. Too many rules to follow which brought on silly fears of “am I doing this right” that truly interrupts the process and makes many want to quit right away (which there is no right way truly, it’s what works for each of us best…)

So I started doing things in my own way and that’s when I had profound growth and big shifts.

For me what worked really well was a few things.

  • I stopped calling it meditation for starters for myself only because it comes with some many rules are things that didn’t make sense depending who or where the information comes from. For instance there internet says to go into the mind and that’s just absurd to me. And sitting up straight and crown to the sky legs crossed wasn’t possible for me and my spine, legs.

So I began calling it “inward time” or “sacred time”. That helped A Lot.

  • I started going inside by laying down and closing me eyes because it was comfortable, realizing if I wasn’t comfortable it sucked and all I did was focus on the discomfort instead of anything else. So I enjoyed laying down. But always do what’s best for your own body.

  • On days that my mind was off the hook yapping non stop about nonsense. I just started looking at what was coming up, if it was fears and stresses and anger I’d actually say thank you for showing me and make an intention to deal with it after inward time OR I’d open my eyes and write them all down which usually worked best. That helped A LOT.. realizing later down the road that was stuck energy that requires attention and resolving. But if just nonsense, I’d shut it down and not let it finish the sentences. I’d say firmly to mind “release” and breathe, I stopped allowing the mind to talk and would just cut it off from saying anything, which took a few mins sometimes but a very powerful practice of taking control.

  • Then, I’d immediately start doing deep breaths in through the nose and stayed filling my belly, into my chest, then into my shoulders and hold for a  few seconds. I’d do about 10 of those and be deep into a lucid state where my mind was not present.

This all took practice and dedication but was all a great help and next thing you know I was having the most powerful inward time. No mind present, asking my higher self questions, seeing visions and really feeling deeply connected with myself.

Taking away the word meditation and the rules was a huge piece that made it my own practice.

The bigger key all together is to take our power BACK from our mind because the mind is the ego. So I started also doing this with eyes open all day everyday in regular life until my mind just stopped taking all together, it just made conscious sense to me. After Rolex getting very silent in the head all the time, which was wild and soooooo freeeing,  that’s when I merged with my higher self and no longer needed to ask questions to a higher version of myself, now asking and feelings within all day and night without having to close my eyes and wonder if what I was getting back was true or real. The most profound part of my journey years ago and will be for you to.

This took a few years of deep dedication everyday to achieve but is possible for sure depending on the time we want to put into our practice, journey. And is a BIG required part (merging with our Higher Self) of Later phases of Awakening into Ascending our consciousness.

Just sharing a simple version for those stuck with meditation and wanting to take it all to the next level.

Hope this helps..❤️
